Welcome, spindling interweb user.
Don't fear, I'm a Computational Media artist.
What does that mean?
I make films, websites, show flyers, do projection mapping, make music, visuals, and also challenging installation art. I am forever interested in aiding humankind by way of artistic design. I have worked on big projects for Fortune 500-funded startups, and for major universities, but I also have a big heart for the little guys. As a freelance web-developer, I have created a niche (and potential trend) for helping non-profits and social entrepreneurs to achieve their dreams and better this great planet. As an artist, I've shifted perspectives to a world of weird, and as a filmmaker, I hope to excavate the ancestry of the soul through the film Axé Orixá.

Description: A friend and collaborator, Laurie Shapiro, came to me with a need for a minimal portfolio site, she received just that.
Client Goals: Not a “techy” in the slightest, the site needed to be set up for an artist with an evergrowing portfolio comprised of mostly photos of past work. It also needed to be sleek enough for residencies, studios, and professionals to respect it and enjoy their experience navigating her work.
Actions: Design and minor programming to pre-existing WordPress theme.
Experience: Knowing that she needed a quick website to manage herself, I chose to go with WordPress as a CMS. Because she had a large amount of photosets on Flickr, using a gallery plugin to automatically draw her new sets in with one line of block code made this a simple and easy set up for both of us.
